Why 1820 Be True to You?

All good things come to those who wait, and believe me when I say we have both waited many years for the good things in our lives.
After manifesting for better in our lives, on the 18th November 2017 we met each other for the first time, and Wow! has life changed since then (for the better, might we add.) I proposed to Chrissy on 18th January 2018, and of course she said 'Yes'. Chrissy moved in with me, but it didn't feel like 'ours', so, we began to manifest again, a new home.....closer to the children and that we had both said 'yes' to. Low and behold we moved in on the 18th of a month again, so when we decided to get married, guess what!! we chose 18th February 2020 - Yes! That's right! just before Covid hit. Initially we were due to get married in July that year, but something told us we needed to do it sooner (The Universe works in mysterious ways doesn't it?) so, we did, and were glad we did too.
In 2023 things were starting to get tough, I felt stuck. Stuck in a job I am really good at, but no longer got satisfaction in, stuck in a job that no longer ignited the fire within, stuck at my desk, stuck in the house (I work from home) and inevitably stuck in low mood. I had been stuck working in finance for 18 years. A job I had 'fell' into to support my growing family. Not the creative job I had dreamed of growing up.
At the beginning of 2024 I realised I needed to do some serious healing, not just from the past year, but also from my younger years, so, with the help and support of Chrissy, family, friends and a therapist my healing began. This life healing re-ignited that need and want to be doing something more creative in life. This year, 2025, marks 20 years in finance and I look to no one else but myself to start making changes in my life. To finally fulfil my dreams that began at such a young age, to feed the love of fashion, art and media that my inner child longs to pursue. Finally being true to myself. And so! 1820 is born.
Be true to you was a message delivered to me in a moment of stillness. I believe this message was not only meant for me, but for all of you too. This is when you will find inner peace. 1820 Be True to You aims to get this important message to as many people as possible. We want you to see it, hear and feel it in your heart.
